Accommodations

As you may know, summer in Santa Barbara is absolutely stunning! Housing accommodations go up, only to increase as time moves on. Please book as early as possible. However, the great thing is there are many options to choose from; it is truly a resort town:  hotels, motels, rental homes, bed and breakfast, condos, single rooms, new hostels and R.V. sites on the beach. Most accept AAA, AARP and other discounts. Some of you may want to reserve a rental home to accommodate large numbers and chip in to cover cost. There are neighboring cities too like Goleta, Montecito and Carpinteria that are close to the venue and other popular area attractions. No matter your choice, we trust you will make the best housing decision by doing your own research as well.

Below we listed a few sites we contacted that are close enough to the venue, daytime activities, and the robust nightlife of State Street. At some locations, we were able to do a little advance price (per-night) negotiation on rates. So enjoy the discovery and let us know if you come across a great deal to share. We’ll post it on the wedding website.

Airbnb is a great option to rent rooms and entire houses from local residents. The cost tends to be much cheaper than a hotel since you are paying for the space and not all the amenities that a hotel typically offers.
